Summer Flowers Thinking of You Card

My family enters in the Eastern Idaho Fair Flowers, Agriculture, Arts, Crafts, Fine arts, and Hobbies departments and a few others. We love our flowers we have grown this year and are excited to enter them. We love growing veggies, fruits and flowers every year. Inspired by our flowers and Simon Says Stamp Card Kit of the Month - the month of August, I decided to make a few flower, floral, blossom cards. I hope you like and are inspired by them.

This is a very simple card I made and was inspired by the Simon Says Stamp Card Kit for the month of August! I love the pink with the green and blues and yellows on this card! Summertime and sunshine! 

I started with the Teal blue cardstock base. I stamped and embossed the sentiment on the card with a green embossing glaze from our collection. The sentiment stamp is from the card kit. The paper is from Echo Park Paper Company. I used some paper from one of their Floral designer Paper 6x6 packs for the front of the card. Behind the sentiment I used yellow cardstock and white for the inside of the card. I used a pink for the front of the card behind the designer paper. 

I used some die cut florals from our collection and placed them behind the sentiment. I used foam adhesives that came in the card kit, to push that up the sentiment a bit higher.
