Sabra here, and I am so excited to share my new project for the new Critter Crazy Challenge Blog's #114 Anything Goes Challenge! The challenge starts on September 1 and goes until the 25th! I hope you will check out their fun challenge and join in the fun!

This card was made with about 90 other school cards! My mother and I saw that Card of Kindness were in desperate need of school themed cards of all kinds! For students, for teachers, graduations, teacher appreciation, school is cool, etc.! So we buckled down and made a bunch of different school themed cards that we actually just mailed off during the first week of August! I loved the Spellbinders adorable dragon, Sir Spelly! I thought that a student would love to get a dragon with glasses and a pencil, of course, on a brightly colored card! So I made this super fun school themed card featuring Sir Spelly, the cutest school loving dragon!!!

Here is the card:

Some specific products I used:

  • Spellbinders Party Time Dragon, Sir Spelly Die Set
  • Spellbinders Smart Glasses Die Set
  • Spellbinders Classroom Chronicles (Book and Pencil)
  • Spellbinders Crayon Creations (Yay! sentiment)

I loved making this slimline card! I embossed the black cardstock with a droopy web embossing folder and then spritzed and inked it to bring our the texture. I stamped the ghost and then masked over them and did the ink blending and white splatter background. I then colored the adorable ghosts! I wet embossed the sentiments along with the ghost, sentiment, and spider on the inside of the card. I loved how it turned out! I can't wait to see what you all create for the new Mix it up Challenge!

Here is the card:
