Blue Skies Ahead: A Thinking of You Card!

Blue Skies Ahead: A Thinking of You Card!

Hello everyone! We have been a little quiet lately, been busy getting our garden and yard ready for summer. We have gotten a little crafting in here and there while also trying to get the yard work and projects done! yay! Thank you for stopping by, we are so glad you did! If you like our blog & posts we would love for you to give our blog a follow!

This card was created for Newton's Nook Inky Paws Challenge for this month! I loved this sketch and had so many fun ideas come to mind, it was hard to limit it to just four! Links to the challenges I am entering and the sketch are near the end of this post! For this card I used Newton's Nook Umbrella Pals Stamp set and a couple of their paper packs to create a fun rainy but bright spring themed card! I loved the result!

Here is the card:

Products I used:

  • Newton's Nook Umbrella Pals
  • Newton's Nook Springtime 6x6 Paper
  • Newton's Nook Birthday Party 6x6 Paper
  • Simon Says Stamp Nocturne Black VersaFine Clair Ink Pad
  • Various colored cardstock from personal crafting stash
  • Various colored pencils and fine-line markers

Here are some more photos to show some close-up details of this card:
