The Mix it Up Challenge blog is a technique challenge blog featuring various techniques on mixed media projects, altered art, and paper crafts such as cards, tags, mini albums, ATCs, 3-D projects, scrapbook layouts, art/junk Journaling, etc! We can't wait to see what you create, so let's craft!
Sabra Here! This was a super fun card to make! I used a piece of paper from the Cosmic Designer Paper pad and then cut out a bunch of different stars out of the Holographic Mirror Paper - Metallic Paper pad. I put the stars all on the background and then put the astronaut and the largest star on adhesive foam to push it out so it looks like the astronaut is riding a shooting star with a beautiful cloudy and stary background. I loved how it turned out, the only problem was the shiny paper made it hard to get pictures without my reflection... despite my best efforts it clearly wasn't successful so you will see my reflection! haha!
