Meowy Christmas! A Kitten Christmas Card!
Hello everyone! We are loving this spring weather here in Idaho! We are in full force planting our raised beds and garden, doing warm weather projects and of course sneaking in some crafting where we can! Thank you for stopping by, we are so glad you did!
This card was inspired by the Freshly Made Sketches Challenge #736 Sketch! I wanted to create a fun little Christmas Card using the cats as the "circles". Then I added a little strip of red glitter cardstock and a velum oval to allow the cats to pop out on the card. I then stamped the sentiment! I loved the result! Such a fun little Christmas card for anyone who loves cats! I also added a few extra cats on the inside! haha! Links to all the challenges I am joining and the sketch are near the end of this post! Hope you will join in!

This is just too cute! I love that you decorated the inside of the card, too! Thanks for joining us at Freshly Made Sketches this week.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Verena!
DeleteOh, I love seeing those Newton's kitties, especially with a Christmas theme! So colorful and festive! Thanks for joining Freshly Made Sketches!
ReplyDeleteThank you so very much Donna!!
DeleteSabra, this is such an adorable card! Those kittens are so very cute. I also love how you used vellum paper behind them. That’s such a nice look that you can still see the patterned paper. Just a note, Newton’s Nook Is our sponsor at Word Art Wednesday starting on May 27. It would be wonderful to have you play along and possibly win the $20.00 gift certificate! Thanks so much for playing with us this round. We always appreciate seeing the lovely things you make!
ReplyDeleteThank you Barb!
DeleteOh these kitties are so cute! As a cat mom, I love each and every one! They're so fun on a Christmas card as well! Thanks for joining us this week at Freshly Made Sketches!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Jen!
DeleteMeow—what cuddly little kittens! Just look at their faces—they have such a playful expression. The coloring is wonderful, featuring such charming colors. I love your design, especially the layout using the oval parchment paper. It was a wonderful idea to cover only half of the card with the patterned paper. A beautiful Christmas card all in all!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for sharing it in the current "Critter Crazy Challenge."
Hugs, Uschi
Thank you so much!
