Happy M-udder's Day! An Adorable Highland Cow Mother's Day Card!

Hello everyone! We are clearly in the dog days of summer...already! It's so hot! Our garden is thriving and we are trying to do the outdoor stuff in the early mornings and then come inside where is nice and cool and do some crafting (after indoor chores are done)! Thank you for stopping by, we are so glad you did!

This card is a little late getting posted on our blog but I still wanted to post it and join a couple of fun challenges! Links to the fun challenges I am joining with this card is near the end of this post! Check them out and join in! This card was made for my mom, of course! She loves cows and this card was the perfect card for her! I actually made two different Mother's Day Cards - cow themed! I let my dad choose which card he wanted to give my mom for Mother's day! It was hard to choose! Both were super cute and I loved how they turned out! This is one of the two cards!

A T-Rex & A Slice of Watermelon Thank You Card!

Hello everyone! We are clearly in the dog days of summer...already! It's so hot! Our garden is thriving and we are trying to do the outdoor stuff in the early mornings and then come inside where is nice and cool and do some crafting (after indoor chores are done)! Thank you for stopping by, we are so glad you did!

This card was so much fun to make! I used Gerda Steiner's Melon Friends Stamp Set and Unity Stamps Watermelon of Harvest 6x6 paper pack. I painted the Stamped T-Rex image with watercolor paints and then splattered paint on it! I loved how it turned out! Forever Loyal Forever Loved! A Friendship Card!

This card was so much fun to make! I used Pajama Crafter's Forever Loved Stamp Set! I embossed it with clear embossing powder then used Tim Holtz's Watercolor Distress pencils and watercolor paints to create this adorable image! I love the dog with his little bow tie! A Simple Rose Birthday Card!

Hello everyone! We are clearly in the dog days of summer...already! It's so hot! Our garden is thriving and we are trying to do the outdoor stuff in the early mornings and then come inside where is nice and cool and do some crafting (after indoor chores are done)! Thank you for stopping by, we are so glad you did!

This card was so much fun to make! I love to color, I always have! Coloring is therapeutic for me and coloring stamped images is like the adult versions of coloring books but you get to pick what images you want to color then put them on a project... and I love it! Roses always have such rich and vibrant colors and I really wanted to try to capture that vibrancy! I found and cut some patterned paper from our scrap papers collection using one of the sketches from Kendra's Card Challenges #22 as my guide for the layout! placed the colored rose image on some foam square to pop it up and stamped the sentiment. I loved how this card turned out!
