A Watermelon Card

A Watermelon Card

My mom was inspired by LAWN FAWNATICS CHALLENGE 176 – FUN WITH FOOD, and  Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog's theme: Summer Fun! decided that it would be fun to make a watermelon card! What says summer food more than watermelon!

Here is the card:

She used a green cardstock for the card base. She cut the cardstock at 5 1/2" x 6 1/2" and scored at 4 1/4"

The Designer specialty paper is from Lawn Fawn's Fruit Salad collection. She used "one in a melon" paper. For the inside of the card the designer paper paper is cut at 4" x5 1/2" and the white cardstock insert was cut at 4 3/4" x 3 3/4".

The tab is cut from green cardstock at 1 1/2" x 4" scored at 1/2".

The designer paper for the outside was cute at 2 1/4" x 5 1/4".

The Green and white tag is made out of cardstock scraps.

The stamps set is from Stampin' Up! Watercolor Melon and the pink gems are from my mom's personal collection.

Here are some pictures of the card:

Happy crafting to you all! We hope you feel inspired to create something that reminds of you a family or friend memory, even better craft with your family and/or friends and make more memories together!
