A "Swoopy" Thanks Card
Hello all! It has been a while since we have been able to post. Summertime means lots of outdoor work, gardening, painting, cleaning, etc. So, our crafting time is limited. However, my mom and I were both able to sneak in some crafting. I won't be posting any of my projects just yet, since they are incomplete. My mom was able to complete 4 cards. This card is one of the 4.
Here is the card:
This is how she did it:
My mom started with dark purple card stock cut to 4 1/4" x 11" scored at 5 1/2" to create the card base. The designer specialty paper is the Ombre selection of the Craft Consortium Craft papers cut to 4" x 5 1/4". She used Simon Says Stamp Swoopy Flowers clear stamp set. She embossed them using sliver embossing powder. She colored the flowers using Tim Holtz watercolor pencils. Using foam adhesives to add dimension to the flowers. She added Green di cut flowers and silver gems to add a bit of sparkle to the front. For the inside she used white cardstock cut to 4" x 5 1/4"and a bit more of the designer paper.
Here are some more pictures of her Swoopy Thanks card:
And that’s it! Happy crafting to you all! We hope you feel inspired to create something and if you can, craft with your family and/or friends and make some fun memories together!
