A Floral Thinking of You Card

A Floral Thinking of You Card

My family enters in the Eastern Idaho Fair Flowers, Agriculture, Arts, Crafts, Fine arts, and Hobbies departments and a few others. We love our flowers we have grown this year and are excited to enter them. We love growing veggies, fruits and flowers every year. Inspired by our flowers and Simon Says Stamp Card Kit of the Month - the month of August, I decided to make a few flower, floral, blossom cards. I hope you like and are inspired by them.

This is another one of favorite cards I made from the card kit! I love the summery vibes I get from this card.

I started with the green card stock base. I stamped and embossed the sentiment on the card with a green embossing glaze from our collection. The sentiment, stamps, and flower cut outs are all from the card kit. The paper is from Echo Park Paper Company. I used their Summer Day Floral  12x12 Patterned Paper for the front of the card and behind the sentiment  and on the inside of the card. I cut out pink and white cardstock as well for the sentiment and the card insert.

I also used the beautiful Simon Says Stamp Beautiful Buttercup die that came in the kit to create the flower on the front of the card. I painted the dark pink buttercup flower with the Tim Holtz Pink spritz spray that came with the card kit to give it a bit of a shine and stand out on the card. I used foam adhesives on the sentiment to add dimension to the card and place the flowers behind it.

Here is the card:

.....and that's it!

Happy crafting to you all! We hope you feel inspired to create something and if you can, craft with your family and/or friends and make some fun memories together!
