A Flowery Thinking of You Card
My family enters in the Eastern Idaho Fair Flowers, Agriculture, Arts, Crafts, Fine arts, and Hobbies departments and a few others. We love our flowers we have grown this year and are excited to enter them. We love growing veggies, fruits and flowers every year. Inspired by our flowers and Simon Says Stamp Card Kit of the Month - the month of August, I decided to make a few flower, floral, blossom cards. I hope you like and are inspired by them.
This is another one of favorite cards I made from the card kit! I love the colors purple and blue!
I started with the light purple card stock base. I then found some floral paper that had blue, pink, green, and purple tones from the card kit and cut it along with the dark blue and white cardstock for the back of the designer paper from the kit and for the insert of the card and the sentiment.
I stamped and embossed the sentiment on the card with a purple and pink embossing glaze from our collection. The sentiment, stamps, paper, and flower cut outs are all from the card kit.
I used the beautiful Simon Says Stamp Beautiful Buttercup die that came in the kit to create the flower on the front of the card. I used foam adhesives on the sentiment to add dimension to the card and place the flower behind it.
Here is the card:
.....and that's it!
Happy crafting to you all! We hope you feel inspired to create something and if you can, craft with your family and/or friends and make some fun memories together!
