Hot Air Balloon Ride Card
Hello everyone! My mom was also inspired by the Annual Teton Valley Balloon Rally that we went to a long time ago as a family. This is my mom's version of a summer balloon card.
Feeling inspired by the balloon festival, Simon Says Instagram Challenge, My Favorite Things Color Challenge and Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog's theme: Summer Fun! my mom decided to make her own balloon card.
Here is the card:
She used a brown card stock as the card base cut to make a 4" x 6" card. Stampin' Up! LIFT Me Up Stamp Set/Up and Away Dies to make the balloon, clouds and stamp the sediment.
She used round dies to create the holes, one smaller home in the base, then a little larger circle die on the same color of cardstock to create the brown ring/inner circle, then the largest circle to cut out the hole in the stamperia paper. She colored the balloon with colored pencils. She placed the balloon on foam squares to pop it up. She used a blending brush and Tim Holtz Walnut stain distress ink to blend the edges of the inside and outside of the card.
And that's it....
Here are some more pictures of her card and some of the products she used, close ups and steps.
Happy crafting to you all! We hope you feel inspired to create something that reminds of you a family or friend memory, even better craft with your family and/or friends and make more memories together!
As always you can check out my Instagram page or my mom's Instagram page for more projects and ideas!
