A Thank You "Berry" Much Card

 Thank You "Berry" Much Card

My mom was inspired by LAWN FAWNATICS CHALLENGE 176 – FUN WITH FOODMy Favorite Things Color Challenge, and Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog's theme: Summer Fun! decided that it would be fun to make A Thank You "Berry" Much Card! Beautiful Summer Blue Berries.

Here is the card:

She started with a 8 1/2" x 11" Green cardstock to cut for the card base.
She cut the cardstock to 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and scored the card in the middle at 4 1/4".
She used a dark navy blue cardstock for the background cut at 5 1/4" x 4".

She used Lawn Fawn fruit Salad Blueberry designer paper and American Crafts Dreamer designer paper from Simon Says Stamp. She cut the larger (top) patchwork pieces to 1 7/8" x 3 1/4" and the smaller (bottom) patchwork pieces to 1 7/8" x 1 3/4".
She embossed the American Crafts Dreamer designer paper with Rainbow Splash Swiss Dots Embossing folder.

She used Stampin' Up! Berry Blessing stamp & Die set. The blueberries were colored and painted with Tim Holtz Distress Watercolor Pencils. The edges of the Thank You tag (die cut out of white cardstock) were blended with a blending brush and Tim Holtz spun sugar and rustic wilderness distress ink.

She put all the pieces together. It is similar to the A Starry Thank You Card we posted earlier this month.

Here are some pictures of the products used and close ups of the card.

My mom put all the pieces together and that's it!

Happy crafting to you all! We hope you feel inspired to create something that reminds of you a family or friend memory, even better craft with your family and/or friends and make more memories together!
