"Witch Boo" Halloween Tag

Happy "almost Fall" everyone! We are so excited for the fall, we have entered about half of our items to exhibit in the Eastern Idaho State Fair - all our crafts and paintings. We are entering our flowers and agriculture this week and the fair starts. Here in Idaho when the fair is here that means fall isn't too far behind. Lots of harvesting, canning, and getting ready for winter and the Holidays, which we love to celebrate as a family, and of course lots of crafting!

Well, my mom and I jumped on the Simon Says Stamp's Monday and Wednesday challenges, well mostly me!! Tags and more tags and Tag it featuring Tim Holtz, one of my personal favorite crafters and I absolutely love Tim Holtz products! Plus it is almost Halloween. We always hand out candy (either full size candy bars or little grab bags full of candy) with a fun little Halloween tag. 

So, my mom and I are getting a head start on our tags. In addition, my new Tim Holtz die cuts that I ordered from Simon Says Stamp came on Friday so we were able to get a few tags done. We are going to make some more tags with some more Tim Holtz Products that we have like the Tim Holtz Cling Rubber Stamps Halloween Sketchbook which I absolutely adore and used last year on our Halloween Treat Tags. I posted some videos and tags we made on my Instagram page.   

For the tags, we used:

• Tim Holtz Sizzix Vault Fright Night Thinlits Dies
  
• Tim Holtz Sizzix Vault Gothic Portraits Thinlits Dies
  
• Tim Holtz Sizzix Vault Wicked Thinlits Dies
  
• Tim Holtz idea-ology 2024 Halloween Kraft-stock Halloween Sparkle Plaid
  
• Tim Holtz Distress Inks - Rustic Wilderness, Black Soot, Gathered Twigs, Walnut Stain, and Seedless Preserves 
• Blending Brushes
• Tim Holtz Distress Mica Stains - Iron gate, Jack-O-Lantern, Decayed, Flickering Candle, Fortune Teller, Wicked Elixir, Bubbling Cauldron, Burning Ember, Hocus, Pocus, Harvest Moon, and Crooked Broomstick.
• White large and small basic tags (both purchased and die cut out)
• Various colored and types of cardstocks - including glitter, shimmer and plain- purchased from a few different companies including: Sizzix, Hobby Lobby, and Simon Says Stamp and paper  given to us as gifts
• Sizzix Manual Big Shot die cutting machine 
• Simon Says Stamp 3D Foam Squares Black 

We used a mixture of the products I mentioned above, we didn't use all of the same products on on tag. We picked and created fun backgrounds with the Distress Mica Stains and Inks then used the Halloween dies to create fun, spooky, and wickedly awesome tags.
