Happy 2024 New Years Card
Today, my mom and I are enjoying our week long summer
family "stay-cation" and decided to make a few cards. Looking into
all the card challenges we like to participate in we decided to make some New
Year's cards and Happy Birthday cards for the Lunar Challenge, Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge, and Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge.
For this card my mom made a Happy 2024 New Years Card. She wanted to make a fun split card with numbers, she used 2024, but the numbers are completely interchangeable, which makes this card super fun.
She started out with a dark blue cardstock card base. She used echo Park fireworks designer paper as the background, and gold paper strips as the background for the split. Using My Favorite Things number die set she cut out 2024 out of gold and glitter gold paper. For the inside insert she used white cardstock and the Simon says stamp graceful flowers stamp set - she stamped the new chapter sentiment.
Here is the card:
......and that's it!
Happy crafting to you all! We hope you feel inspired to
create something and if you can, craft with your family and/or friends and make
some fun memories together!
