A Whale-y Good Birthday Card!

A Whale-y Good Birthday Card!

Hello everyone! We are clearly in the dog days of summer...already! It's so hot! Our garden is thriving and we are trying to do the outdoor stuff in the early mornings and then come inside where is nice and cool and do some crafting (after indoor chores are done)! Thank you for stopping by, we are so glad you did

This card was super fun to make, I loved making the whales in the background just swimming around and then using the one up front as the main image! So much fun! I am joining a few fun challenges with this card and hope you will join in the fun! Links are near in the end of this post!

Here is the card:

Products I used:

  • Simon Says Stamp Get Whale Soon Stamp and Die Set
  • Simon Says Stamp Nocturne Black VersaFine Clair Ink Pad
  • Altenew Pure White Embossing Powder
  • Tim Holtz Mermaid Lagoon and Uncharted Mariner Distress Ink
  • Tim Holtz Twisted Citron Distress Oxide
  • Stitched and Nesting Circle Dies
  • Echo Park Sea Life 6x6 paper pack
  • Various colored cardstock from personal crafting stash
  • Various colored pencils and fine-line markers

Here are some more photos to show some close-up details of this card:

......and that's it!

Happy crafting to you all! We hope you feel inspired to create something and try something new!

  2. Sabra, this is a really fun card! I love your backgrounds, especially those whales swimming around. And you’ve done a great job, making the whale in the circle stand out with a beautiful coloring. Thanks so much for playing along with us at Word Art Wednesday. We appreciate your participation!
