If You Give A Mouse Cookie Shaker Card (1)
Hello everyone! It is beginning to warm up and spring is in the air! Yay! We love spring and look forward to the sunshine and warmer weather. The flowers and garden! Can't wait!
I was so inspired by Lawn Fawn's Challenge (link at the end of the post) -Inspired by a book, movie or song. There are so many great options that I think the hardest part was picking just four!!!!!! I did multiple cards, too many to enter into the challenge but I just couldn't stop! It was so much fun! I am only entering the ones I liked best, but I will post all of them eventually, so keep an eye out. One of my favorite books growing up was "If You Give A Mouse A Cookie".
Its a wonderful book! If you haven't read it you definitely should. So I made this fun card inspired by this book and the glass of milk is totally the shaker bit! I loved how it all came together. I colored the mouse from Lawn Fawn's Sweet Christmas Mice Stamp set so he matched the mouse in the book and used Newton's Nook to get the chocolate chip cookies in there.
I really hope you enjoy this card as much as I did making it! p.s. there is also a mini video showing the shaker card in action at the end of the post.
Here is the Card:
I used:
- Lawn Fawn Sweet Christmas Mice Stamp Set
- Lawn Fawn Sweetest Flavor Stamp Set
- Lawn Fawn Spiffier Speckles Petite Paper Pack
- Lawn Fawn Rainbow Ever After Petite Paper Pack
- Newton's Nook Puppies Cookie Jar
- Simon Says Stamp Black Ink Pad
- This Calls for Confetti Rectangle Shaker Card Kit - dies & pouches
- This Calls for Confetti Ice Sparkle Gems
- This Calls for Confetti Opalescent White Sands Sequin Confetti
- Waffle Flower Candy Dots
- My Favorite Things Essential Letters
