Gingerbread Sweetness: A Christmas Card

Gingerbread Sweetness: A Christmas Card

Hello everyone! Fall is here and things are thankfully starting to slow down a bit, knock on wood... haha! We have had some time to craft which has been super nice, we are looking forward to the cooler weather and less to do outside! Happy fall to everyone! Thank you so much for stopping by! If you like our blog and posts we would love for you to give our blog a follow! Just push "follow" button on the right side!

Let the crafting continue.... This card was inspired by the Build Your Stash Holiday Cardmakers. The Links to the challenges are at the end of this post. I received the Simon Says Stamp Gingerbread Joy Stamp and die set for free during a STAMPtember promotion and I love it! I loved these adorable Gingerbread men and how much fun they were to color and craft with! I really liked using the non-traditional Christmas colors with card!

Here is the card:

Products I used:

  • Simon Says Stamp Gingerbread Joy stamp and die set
  • Simon Says Stamp Black Ink Stamp Pad
  • This Calls for Confetti Speckled and Christmas Post 6x6 Paper Pads
  • Brutus Monroe Glitterstock from The Chromatic Reserve Collection
  • Echo Park Cream and Silver Foil Dots Designer Paper
  • Stitched Nesting Square Dies
  • Various colored pencils and fine-line markers
  • Various papers from our Christmas paper crafting stash

Here are some more photos to show some close-up details and the products I used to create this card:

"The spirit of Christmas is Christlike love. The way to increase the Christmas spirit is to reach out generously to those around us and give of ourselves. The best gifts are not material things but gifts of listening, of showing kindness, of remembering, of visiting, of forgiving, of giving time.” - Bonnie L. Oscarson
