Winter Skies and Three Snowmen Watercolor Card
Hello everyone! We just wanted to say to anyone having a tough time right now, we understand and it will be okay. Life is full of ups and downs and we have definitely had our fair share of both. So we understand. We got a not so great email kind of bashing our photos, videos and crafts. But what they don't know is we are doing the best we can with what we have. So to everyone out there, you are doing the best you can and that is wonderful! Keep going, keep trying and don't give up. Keep on crafting and doing what you love. You know, that thing that brings a smile to your face and lifts your heart and soul. Don't let the haters bring you down, keep loving life because you are loved!
I love to watercolor and the past few years I haven't been able to watercolor as much as I would like to do. So one of my new year resolutions is to watercolor more this year, and so far I am doing pretty good! I enjoyed painting these adorable snowmen. It was so much fun. I actually got to play with mica watercolor powders I received as a birthday gift! I hope you love the card as much as I do! Here is the Card:
I used:
- Dandelion Co. liquid watercolor paints (Purchased on Let's Make Art) - various colors: Dusty Rose, Orchid, Tahoe Blue, Space Blue, Sepia, and a few others.
- Dr. Ph. Martin's Bleed proof White (Purchased on Amazon)
- Princeton Heritage Paint Brushes (Purchased on Amazon) - various sizes used: Size 8, size 6, and size 4
- Tombow Fudenosuke Black Brush Pen (Purchased on Amazon)
- Water Soluble Mica powder (Purchased on Amazon - link is similar not exact since it was a gift)
- Lawn Fawn Knit Picky Winter Designer Paper
Here are some more photos to show some close-up details of the card:
