My mom wanted to join the Newton's Nook Inky Paws challenge (link at end of post) and use her new newton's Nook Stamp sets! Holly loves to do sketch challenges. They inspire her to try building cards a little differently and she loves it. Holly makes those sketches her own. We hope you enjoy her take on the sketch challenge.

Hello everyone! We just wanted to say, thank you for stopping by our blog! We hope you are enjoying our posts!  February is almost over and spring is coming! yay! 

I love to watercolor and the past few years I haven't been able to watercolor as much as I would like to do. So one of my new year resolutions is to watercolor more this year, and so far I am doing pretty good! I enjoyed painting these adorable snowmen. It was so much fun. I actually got to play with mica watercolor powders I received as a birthday gift! I hope you love the card as much as I do! Here is the Card:

I used:

  • Dandelion Co. liquid watercolor paints (Purchased on Let's Make Art) - various colors: Dusty Rose, Orchid, Tahoe Blue, Space Blue, Sepia, and a few others.
  • Dr. Ph. Martin's Bleed proof White (Purchased on Amazon)
  • Princeton Heritage Paint Brushes (Purchased on Amazon) - various sizes used: Size 8, size 6, and size 4
  • Tombow Fudenosuke Black Brush Pen (Purchased on Amazon)
  • Water Soluble Mica powder (Purchased on Amazon - link is similar not exact since it was a gift)
  • Silver Metallic designer paper

A Gnome Hey, Chick! Easter Card

Hello everyone! We are excited to start crafting again. January started out quite busy, but we did get a few cards during the weekends, and we are so glad we are able to get them posted. We both received lots of fun crafting supplies and we can't wait to use them all! 

My mom, Holly, wanted to use her new Trinity Stamps All Cracked up Stamp Set with it's coordinating dies. She really wanted some Easter stamps, she didn't have too many. Trinity Stamps had an awesome black Friday sale so we snatch a couple of these awesome Easter gnome stamp and die sets for an amazing deal! 

 My mom decided to make this super adorable gnome Hey, Chick! Easter Card!

  • Lawn Fawn Speckles (green speckled colored paper) designer paper 
  • Lawn Fawn falling leaves (peach cross hatched colored paper) designer paper

A Snowman Watercolor Card

Hello everyone! We just wanted to say, thank you for stopping by our blog! We hope you are enjoying our posts!  February is almost over and spring is coming! yay! 

I love to watercolor and the past few years I haven't been able to watercolor as much as I would like to do. So one of my new year resolutions is to watercolor more this year, and so far I am doing pretty good! I enjoyed painting this adorable snowmen trying to catch snowflakes with a super salty green and pink background. It was so much fun! I hope you love the card as much as I do! Here is the Card:

Hello everyone! We are excited to start crafting again. January started out quite busy, but we did get a few cards during the weekends, and we are so glad we are able to get them posted. We both received lots of fun crafting supplies and we can't wait to use them all! 

This stamp set is so cute and mom thought they would make adorable Thank you cards. We bought the Mice on Ice Lawn Fawn Stamp set with Coordinating dies and stencils a while ago but we hadn't had a chance to use them yet. We adore the Lawn Fawn Mic! they are so cute! We especially love the Lawn Fawn coordinating stencils! They are so fun and easy to work with!
